Volume 1, Getting StartedThis DVD covers the fundamentals;
history, kayak selection, and looks at the variety of styles and types
of equipment available for you to choose from. Learn what to take with
you when you paddle, and what you should consider when deciding what to
wear. become an informed buyer and an informed paddler.
Volume 2, Essential StrokesLearn to paddle forward, reverse,
turn and go sideways. Essential Strokes examines the quiver of
techniques required to get you around in your kayak. Go beyond the
essential safety procedures you practice in case you overturn. Learn how
to rescue another paddler and how to assist in your own rescue. This
volume offers good grounding in essential skills.
Volume 3, Directional Control The skills shown here include
those taught in Nigel's popular "directional control" classes. Beginning
with the essential components used to accurately control your course
